Sri Lanka CERT|CC facilitates stakeholder discussion with NISC, Japan
Sri Lanka CERT|CC officials Rohana Palliyaguru (Director Operations) and Dr Kanishka Karunasena, Research and Policy Development Specialist along with representatives of a number of leading cyber security service providers and government officials that contributed to the development of the National Information and Cyber Security Strategy of Sri Lanka met with Mr Hidetoshi OGAWA, Counsellor, Cabinet Secretariat & Director for International Strategy of the National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC), Japan and Mr Sato Takefumi, Second Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka at the CERT offices at the BMICH on Friday 9th November 2018.
The discussion was based on how both countries can collaborate in the area of cyber security and various strategies and institutional frameworks that should be established to achieve secure and resilient cyber security ecosystem.
